Cherokee Nation offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including some of the best fishing in Oklahoma. That’s probably why the country’s top anglers are coming back to Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees March 4-6 for the 2016 GEICO Bassmaster Classic. Cherokee citizen Jason Christie is hoping to reel-in a victory at this year’s “Super Bowl of bass fishing.” The Cherokee Nation Businesses-sponsored professional bass angler is a two-time Elite Series champion and winner of two Bassmaster Opens events.
